Trafalgar Square
is the most popular place for people to meet. It is the geographical
centre of London. The square was named “Trafalgar” to commemorate
Admiral Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. In the
middle of the square there is Nelson’s Column, which is 51 m
high.
